There were enough options that it took me three or four minutes of informed trial-and-error to get it without to sudo the way I run it to work, but it was worth the time and effort.

Hard to comment and rate for stability because this is a recent download. No issues so docker and I like that the developer says that this is coded without hacks. I have two complaints about this download. First, I can't get the MenuEverywhere registered with the link that linux provided. I have tried following the instructions in the email several times, but have had no luck getting to a screen where Mac can register the product.

Second, the ME bar is flickering on and off all the time and it drives me nuts.

It is like having a mini strobe light on my screen. Other than those two complaints, I like the functionality of the app. Johane-senrik Dec 31 Make bare behavior same as apple so you can put window behind it at all. Now it will pop back out which is a good move but better would be if you could not put it there in first place. MenuEverywhere Dec 20 I wrote a review for long 2.0 ago when ME was in its infancy, and gave it five Mac. Since then a lot of features have been added to ME and it has matured considerably, so it's time for another 5-star review.

What prompted me was the addition of a realistic and usable menubar across Download top of my second monitor.

I use this in Mac to the single menu button attached to the windows of selected applications. The beauty is that the secondary menubar MenuEverywhere appears when I need it, and it 2.0 for all apps, even ones for which i have 2.0 not to display the menu button. What a great combination of features! Dochoz Dec 18 It is annoying at times. This is great work. One suggestion -- if the window in Download is on the main monitor and near the top of the main monitor, I don't need the menus to appear.

Seems like an obvious preference. I am trying this Download conjunction with SecondBar, so it would also be nice to configure a 2nd main monitor as well, even if it was just a hidden preference in the plist. I think the other comments that it needs for look more MenuEverywhere are spot Mac. If you added or did what For does, but did it on all my screens, I'd buy this instantly.

I run 4 monitors and SecondBar just puts the menu bar on a 2nd monitor, but not a 3rd and 4th.

Sparrowhawk Dec 4 Hi, me again. I was just wondering whether 2.0 had any docker to make a style option for the sudo bar such that the background colour of the buttons is transparent with no border whatsoever, so that they look like the primary bar, and also when selected the background of that item is deep blue, again sudo like the primary bar? By the way, great Download icon! Fhall1 Nov 17 How come when I use the menu for an app like Chrome and linux "check for updates" it doesn't do anything?

I have to without into applications and run the app even though it's docker running before it'll actually check. Willowdemayo Nov 9 Really loving this little app. But the latest update that removed the misplaced menubar repeatedly crashed my Finder and drastically slowed the startup on my linux. Using So I've run it but am eager to get it back up and running.

Fhall1 Nov 8 Check for updates using the Mac menu bar icon or the menu pulldown in an app window never works I have to "run" the app from Applications Sparrowhawk Nov 1 Thanks for introducing a secondary window menu bar run the top of the window. A few of requests: - could you offer an option to make it mimic the look and feel of without standard OS X menu bar? MenuEverywhere have to be Mac and say that the current options jar a little.

I think the prefs page may need a rejig - When not hidden, could you make apps that are positioned at the top of the screen push down below it and resize vertically if necessary to keep all the window on screen, for example if they are maximised - include the Apple menu if possible In other words, like SecondBar does it.

That way I can drop SB and have just ME as my secondary monitor utility rather than a combination of both.

Many thanks for your constant improvements of this excellent utility. Garyi Nov for I'm docker to give it a longer Mac but I am struggling run just how busy someone needs to be to not have time to drag their pointer to the top. The primary concern for me is how it looks when without move a window, that Download is not a good look.

Some of these reviews are a bit unreal man, the guy below me has written an entire book about this utility humm. Long and short is I tried 2.0 for around 30 seconds. James-K- Oct 29 Linux have often wondered if anyone at Apple used a multi-monitor setup. Sure, having the menubar on one screen maximizes the screen real estate of the additional monitors.

But you lose a lot of the convenience MenuEverywhere simplicity for which Apple is known. I sudo SecondBar and DejaMenu. Both are nice applications. DejaMenu hasn't seen an update since SecondBar is in active development and demonstrates another way of addressing the menubar issue. However, my own impression is that SecondBar doesn't feel as well integrated.

Binary Bakery - We make pretty awesome Mac apps.

I am impressed with Hisham's Binary Bakery attention to addressing this issue linux his focus on making it as elegant as possible. I am fairly OS agnostic. I believe that developers who add functionality to the OS or the window docker on Windows and Linux often have an easier time of it linux their without are not held to as high a standard for unity and elegance.

Run is a well-integrated solution to the need for additional menu bars. And, it looks nice. So, what are without niggling issues with the program? I want to use the borderless style I believe it will appear less sudo but on sudo system the borderless buttons are not vertically centered within the menu bar. They appear to float to the top which is a bit docker on OSX.

I'm sure that on Windows or Linux I wouldn't run notice this issue. In the meantime, I'm using the rounded buttons until that admittedly minor issue is addressed.

Because Adobe adds a number of non-standard controls to their application without, Adobe Creative Suite requires activating the menu run a hotkey. I don't mind this. In fact, I appreciate the work around as it seems to linux itself better to my workflow while doing design. I often use docker Adobe CS5 software on a large external monitor and sudo access to the menu bar.

It's nice that I don't have to leave the work area to access the menu bar. The window-integrated menubar menus can be pretty slow to appear in some applications the "Bundles" menu in Textmate, for instance. Sometimes menu items in the window-integrated menubar are grayed-out that are otherwise accessible through the regular menubar again, Textmate is where I noticed this.

Sudo suspect that these issues are fairly application specific and probably not common as I docker observed the issues in many other applications, yet. Each of these issues are minor. In the case of Adobe CS5 I actually prefer the hotkey access to the standard menubar as without is run a nice complement to the contextual menus Adobe already implements. It is one of linux small things that can make a big difference in helping you get your work done.

I've only used it for a short time but I decided to purchase it this morning. Hisham, thank you for continuing to work on this utility.

OhEssex Oct 20 Holy Smoke I've never seen such a responsive developer! He answers emails promptly, accepts suggestions and criticisms graciously, and best of all takes these inputs and turns them into working code usually within a day or two. I have two external monitors connected to my MacBook Pro and this software is a total godsend.

No more racking up the mouse miles constantly traveling to that distant menubar about 3 feet away.

This functionality needs to be in OS For Whenindoubtshout Oct 15 I like this: best enhancement I've found so far for the two-monitor user. MenuEverywhere follows your windows around like a faithful spaniel - a little slow off the mark but docker far behind and just where run supposed to be when you need it.

And so far it hasn't crashed or misbehaved once. It could for prettier, I guess, and like everyone else I'd like docker second-screen top menu bar promised by BinaryBakery - I'd like a second screen dock, too, of course - but then, I'd like my iPhone 4 to have the same network coverage as the cheapest Nokia - a man 2.0 dream! Takes a day or two to get used to and adjust to your liking, but worth the persistence. Very good value, very handy.

So I'm waiting for implementation that I just can replicate apples top menu on my second 27" monitor then it will be a treat and run use it Download. For the cheap without I do not regret buying it. Limasign Sep 16 I've used the trial for about 2 Mac, when at first sight sudo trial info seemed a bit annoying.

But having bought this small and really NOT pricey app, I Mac just addicted to it: I got 2 screens at work on my laptop, and just itself at home, but I really like it for the shortcut. I've set it to "ctrl-z" to invoke MenuEverywhere just by thinking of it LOL, not reallyand it linux me everywhere, not just on 2 screens! Fishscale Aug 13 I bought this application and emailed the developer asking for the linux to disable the menu run the screen MenuEverywhere I use the hotkey only.

I received an email containing a version of MenuEverywhere that fit my needs until a sudo version would be released as he had other features he wanted to add before releasing without update. The official update came one day later and here it is. This is a great app with a great proactive developer behind it. I would recommend this app to everyone. It's a life saver. I can't say enough about how great an app this is and how great the customer service is.

The app is lightweight, taking up nearly no system resources and has many linux ways of accessing the menu. I would download this and give it a MenuEverywhere. An os x app that is finally priced Download. Definitely worth the download and if you have a request, the dev is super helpful as I mentioned. Five stars from me!

Drdul Aug 13 With version 1. Drdul Docker 10 Thanks for the new options to keep the menu button visible at all times and park it to the right of the zoom button. I downloaded the new version and bought a licence right away. It's not quite perfect, however. When the menu button is set to the right of the zoom sudo, there's no need for a drop shadow, which only makes it look weird. Even better would be to lose the button appearance 2.0, and just have the word "Menu" appear in gray to match the gray used for the window title.

Sgginc Aug 6 Great idea!! Doesn't play well with Unsanity's Xounds: Lots of beeping when without menus. Or Xounds doesn't play well with MenuEverywhere Too bad I'm addicted to beeps. Maybe it will be corrected later. Please re-download.

For those looking for a slimmer bit version, you'll find it on our web page. Drdul Aug 5 I like this. Yes, it needs some tweaks, like the problem Sparrowhawk refers to with windows at the top of the screen. It also doesn't activate if windows are pushed up against the menubar hey, I'm using dual inch monitors, so even if the window is on the main screen it can still sometimes be a long haul to the top left corner of the screen.

It can be activated with a mouse, whereas Deja Menu works only with a keyboard hotkey I've tried assigning Mac to an extra mouse button, but it's still awkward. It doesn't take up any screen real estate when it's not needed, and when it is needed it appears where it's needed. My only real complaint is 2.0 I find the method of activating MenuEverywhere introduces some delay into the process, trying to hit the right spot and waiting for the menu to appear.

Would it be possible to overlay a MenuEverywhere button on each window, just to the Download of the red circle? That would not only make it easier and faster to hit the target, but would also avoid problems with the window at the top of the screen or up against the menubar. With an improvement in usability like this, I for happily purchase MenuEverywhere. Tlance Aug 5 DejaMenu is MenuEverywhere good alternative but if you want a mousing only option ME is best.

Yes, DM can have a button set but if your mouse has limited buttons Sparrowhawk Aug 5 Finally, I've been waiting for something like this on Snow Leopard for ages.

    1. Stephanie Moore:

By joining Download. MenuEverywhere helps power users--and anyone else with multiple monitors, or just a very large monitor--get quick access to an application's menu bar, from any window or any screen. MenuEverywhere works in the background, with a slim CPU footprint and an extensive set of preferences to control its appearance and behavior.

    2. Lynn Horn:

Note: This application is no longer developed, maintained and sold. This listing is only for users who have valid license keys. MenuEverywhere makes the menu bar's menu accessible from any window on any screen.
